I am a positive, experienced and respected Golf Club Manager, a position which covers all aspects of business from cleaning to catering and finance, working with budgets typically up to £1.5m. The requirement to ensure that income and expenditure targets are achieved is crucial to success of the business. These skills are therefore totally transferrable, across all types of business - Working within golf, a focus on Customer Service is absolutely key to success, something that seems all too easily forgotten as a company begins to outgrow itself.
My background as a PGA Golf Professional combined with over twenty years experience in a number of clubs and positions, means I have gained strong financial and business acumen coupled with suitable professional qualifications. The most important of these qualifications, especially within small business is "Practical Digital Marketing". I understand the challenges of meeting the constraints of a marketing budget alongside providing the exceptional level of leads to ensure continuity and growth both for the present and the future. My style has and will always be to provide value, to nurture new business and ensure repetition, there is no such thing as a 'quick buck' solution, it will not be your answer.
I have always lead the way in marketing styles from text messages to mobile apps and automated response campaigns. With so many options out there, someone has to do the leg work to find out what works and what doesn't!
